You'll See Me Waiting For You At The Corner Of Your Street
191st post! A few (okay, not
few, but relatively) more and I'm off a'chuggin' to a new blog :D
I seriously love this singer,
Bradly Akeman. He sings with his guitar and he's really talented! Hooked on his covers of
Look What You've Done, Hey There Delilah and
The Man Who Can't Be Moved. I love how YouTube always is like a treasure chest hiding all these wonderful singers waiting to be discovered (:
Phew, this blogskin took me
ages to do. I love the icon! Decided for once to use one that I didn't make or take from TAC. insanityroses is good but doesn't have enough icons ): or so it seems, maybe it's under archives and I didn't check. I wanted to insert a little bit of bright pink in the header to match the icon but it turned out screwed, so.
Will probably do another one tomorrow, or something. This one's not my best.
-Tomorrow's the last day of school! I can't believe I'm not excited about it. AND I've got tuition tomorrow. My mum and I had a brief argument about how I have tuition for the holidays. It's not fair. True, I get less Chinese than Singapore students, but unlike them I also have other school subjects to study for. For you guys in Singapore, Chinese
is one of my subjects, but for me it's not, so why should I have it in the holidays?? It's not fair!! My mum finally gave up with her signature I'm-not-
bothering-to-continue-this phrase, "We'll talk about it."
Phibble.
Anyway, back to last day of school. IT'S SO CLOSE TO HIGH SCHOOL, I can't believe it! Sophie Kim, our student council prez, wore this AWESOME outfit to her speech (even if she
did pronounce us class of 2014 instead of 2013)- it was royal blue sleeveless on top attached to a high-waist black skirt, with black translucent tights and black heels. It's the kind of thing I
always want to wear but never have (the components) to.
Tomorrow's alternate dress day as well so I'm going to wear one of my favourite dresses- a red eyelet babydoll from C.O.A.X. Since the sleeves are skinny and liable to slip off, I'm pairing it with a white gold-zipper vest that Auntie Mary gave to me second-hand (from her neighbour, who was moving... they gave me this whole PILE of clothes, some of which were AWESOME, but I only got to take the vest, I think, cos my parents have this
thing about second-hand germs or whatnot) and my awesome Aries (I think) gold multilayered (whateveryoucallit) necklace.
Wanted to wear boots but they take me aeons to put on, so I'm just gonna wear my gold sandals (: which make my feet look fat but they're comfy and they match. so there.
I'll come running,
