When I asked you how you're doing I meant I missed you more than I've ever missed anyone else before.
Briefly checked out two blogshops -INVOGUE BKK IS DYING! NOOO!- but was disappointed. Hate those blogshops whose collections sound promising but only end up having, like, 3 items, with blurry shots.
Getting Confirmed today! Had a huge bout of low self-esteem yesterday when I tried out my outfit. The dress makes me look really old and frumpy; my mother says it's just the cut (A-line), colour (off-white) and material (Thai silk). Grah! After the Confirmation we're planning to have it altered so I can wear it not just for formal occasions. Currently thinking of making it a sleeveless, high-waist shift. It will still look old, I think, but it's the most we can do without chopping everything up.
Went to MBK yesterday and came back with feet super sore! (They still hurt. LOL.) Let's calculate the expenses:
Blue cardigan, UFO, 345 Baht
Blue dress, Divi Diva, 299 Baht
Brown wedge flip-flops, 199 Baht
White pashmina-scarf, 3 for 500 Baht (so that makes it about 167 Baht)
Off-white skirt, 199 Baht
I *think* that's all I bought... so let's see... 1209 Baht spent. Oops!!!!! (I think the exchange rate is about 23.03, so that's about 52.50 SGD spent. ECK!) Good thing is, I haven't shopped for aeons, so if I don't shop for another weekend or something, maybe the cost will be spread out. If you get my convoluted logic.

Raise Your Hopeful Voice
Continuing where I left off...
Sunday ...Revised for ch 11 test and Humanities, then went home, turned on AC and watched Princess of Thieves starring a 15 y/o Keira Knightley who was as pretty as ever, and a totally hot Froderick. Irritating thing was, she abandoned Froderick -this cowardly guy whom she's been friends with for 8 years- for this stupid smug I'm-so-brave prince Phillip. Darn. But wanting to do icons for them anyway.
Today Did Humanities quiz, don't think K has uploaded scores yet but pretty sure I did ok. Probably failed the bonus ? though. Had no idea what 1/2 the flags were. Did ch 11 test, got 97%. Did science presentation and TOTALLY FAILED. Everyone was on me for the you-didn't-explain-this-?-enough thing. Finally decided that the quiz wouldn't go up on powerschool so everyone was happy. Conversation: Me: You owe me 180 Baht. Noah: I do not! I gave you ten baht. Me: Look, Noah, THERE, you signed. 180 Baht. Noah: Give me an A+ first! Then I'll pay you. Me: It's not going on Powerschool. Noah: Give me an A+! Me: NOAH! IT IS NOT GOING ON POWERSCHOOL! (really loudly) Noah: Oh. Right. *walks away*

In PD 3 Yearbook Ms Ulster said aren't we supposed to go HS elections? ('we' being jacob, andrew, michael perry and I). the guys didn't know and I thought it was pd4, so we completed pd3 and I went off happily to pd4 GLOBAL STUDIES, where naturally nobody was there and mrs. pine-petthong was like, it's supposed to start at 1:40, don't worry! then I said I should check it out, so I ran out, met michael (who'd went to MPB and stumbled upon choir people who asked him what the hell he was doing there) and the both of us ran to the chevron, where we entered quietly from the back (his idea) and found jacob and andrew hiding at the back too. so the four of us sat there throughout the second half of sophie's (YAY SOPHIE) speech. then when it ended we all crept downstairs.
turns out we missed 98% of the whole thing anyway, including this andy guy who was supposedly very amusing. so I ended up voting for all the girls on the list since I had no idea who they were anyway. AND SOPHIE :D :D :D

First off, I had an inspiration for this awesome blogskin, but problem was it came during school time so naturally by the time I got home I forgot what it was.
Saturday Dance. Was. Kind of. Not worth 700 Baht.
Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but only for the first half. Then after a while I got depressed and bored. And listened to sad songs like When She Loved Me all the way home.
Plus points: + NINO ASKED JOYCE TO SLOW DANCE. They look really cute together (: + EVAN PULLED MITA ONTO THE DANCE FLOOR. No comment.
Minus points: - Not saying.
Sunday Went to 9.45 mass, where we ran a little late but it was OK (the homily was soooo long! I kind of lost the point. oops). Then went to Shangri La Shang Palace with Joseph Teo for lunch. Sadly, he didn't really like the private room we were given and bawled most of the time.
Dropped mum off for her dental (HAHAHAHAHARETAINERSHAHAHAHAHA), then went to sway-chick's house and gobbled up my latest TEEN VOGUE (SELENA GOMEZ ROCKS :D) and sway-sim's People. (kristen stewart's bf is cute.)
OK, this time, you've gone too far. You may think you mean well and don't want to insult anyone, but watch your words. You may say that you're not like other people. You may not like what I do in my free time, but YOU DON'T HAVE TO SAY IT. You don't have to say how lame and boring what I do is. Because you know what? By insulting what I do, you insult me. This afternoon, walking to the school bus, I suddenly realized how I must look like to a stranger: a pink fanatic. That's right, me, one of those girls where everything has to be pink. You see, my backpack is pink, and so's my water bottle, which sticks out of the side pocket; my pencil case is purple and my sneakers are purple and pink. Wow. Pink isn't my favourite colour; it isn't even my second! (That's white and blue respectively. Followed by red, if you're interested.)
Anyway.
Found out my Anna poem is circulating round. My mum nagged me to send it to all my uncles, my godmother and my parents, then today she showed it to Auntie Jess and she's going to show it to Sway Sim soon. Oh no. I was telling her, soon you'll be emailing Penguin and Random House demanding for it to be published! Wow, I'll be in Guiness Book of Records under Author of Thinnest Book Ever. Or Biggest Scam: 999-Page Book With 1 Page Of Text!!

Bad Girl
Today was actually a horrible day, but miraculously after re-reading Bazaar, a snippet of Psalm's and taking a nice calming bath the day got better. Then my mum agreed to take me to see Joseph, which of course was a kind of calming process in itself. He is SO CUTE! (Though his poop is not. I don't see how mums can like, wipe poop off babies' butts without flinching, when it is all icky. I am not going to say anything else, TMI! :X)
I actually have only 11-5 to do for tomorrow! Isn't that so awesome??
AND tomorrow we have no PE. Though on Thurs we do. I have to convince myself to give my best and smile even when I miss and some people laugh. Even when I make a complete fool of myself in front of everyone. *prods self* Okay, I need to cheer up.

I Didn't Say Half The Things I Wanted To
E.G. what the heck was Hayden thinking???? Normally I'd cut the actors/actresses a little more slack for their fashion faux pas-es, but this time I fully agree with GFY. Either don't wear that dress, dear H.P., or don't wear the pants underneath 'em!!!! ): It was a total waste of that gorgeous summery dress.

My brain's not working, but I do hope that somewhere, God hears my poem. My baby cousin Anna Sim died this morning when I was on the school bus. She had an extra chromosome. (If I'm not wrong, it's #13- very rare.) Most babies with her condition don't last 2.5 days, but with God's grace she lived to see about 6.5 days. Thank you, God.
Please pray for Anna. I didn't get the chance to see her when she was a baby, let alone watch her grow up like I saw my other cousins do. I just wish that I could have been there. I know she was a brilliant and strong girl to have made it through so long.
And now I'm confused... When something so hard as death hits you, all the books and movies can tell you that the expected thing to do is cry and be sad. But is that the right thing? Is it a crime if somebody says something funny and you laugh? I'll come running,

FRIDAY Went to CentralWorld, arrived at 11. Nimarta and Nimanee arrived at 11.15 and Tata at 11.30. Mita'd decided she didn't want to come after all, which was a major disappoitment. Went to Info to ask about studios but apparently there ARE NO STUDIOS at CentralWorld, except for this family thing where you have to dress like Japanese and we didn't really want to do that. So we ate fries at McD (lol cute abbrieviation, huh? ;D), walked around and ate lunch at this really cool place called Pizza Pizza on lvl 6. I've never been there before but the pizza was quite good! Really large, though. Felt sooo full after that. Then walked around some more. Managed to find Ten & Co. by some miracle (because CW is so big and Ten & Co. is tucked away in a teeeny corner on lvl 2) and by another miracle it was having a SALE! So Nimarta, Tata and I bought stuff. Me*: a blue peasant top, a neon pink thin belt and a black tee for Mother's Day. Nimarta: a pink peasant top, matching mine. Tata: a polo tee? I think so. Then we walked around some more, stumbled into -speak of the devil!- F at Forever 21, where F was looking at 1000-baht dresses and telling us that they were not bad and we should try them (*cough* yes, on a nearly-300-baht budget, tell me how?), quickly escaped to ZARA where sadly it was very depressing because even the tank tops were expensive. Then we ate ice cream at DQ. Then went home. Well, not really home... *Nimarta, I'm so sorry, but after we'd all left my dad decided he wanted to get a stamp on my receipt for a discount on the parking price, so he let me go back to Ten & Co. and I decided to buy that pink top after all. Same as you. Hope we don't wear it on the same Alternate Dress Day!! Also bought gorgeous pink-red skinny jeans.
Saturday The retreat for CCD. REALLY INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE, Matthew 4: 13-16. Recommended it to Thomas for catechism but he says they use it all the time for rite of something- the one after confirmation (oops, I forgot XD). It says something about all of us being the salt of the earth and the light of the world and that we shouldn't hide that light, we should SHINE :D just like Stephen in Hey Stephen (oh, whatEVS).
got kind of grumpy after that, though, because (a) I really wanted to go Platinum for some destressing but my dad wouldn't let me, and (b) some people had been really infuriating at the retreat even though, *reminds myself* I AM TRYING TO BE A MORE GRACEFUL PERSON WHO DOESN'T GOSSIP AND TALK BAD BEHIND PEOPLE'S BACKS EVEN IF THEY'RE NOT VERY NICE. Ahem. So I shall start. (That was my penance yesterday, and I already broke it when I left. I MUST TRY HARDER!!!!) (Even my thoughts kind of violate that.)
so went emporium, cos we needed to buy those anti-fungi thing for my boots, as well as some more socks. the special kind that look like they're made of pantyhose material or whatever, except they're shaped like ballet shoes or something, and you just slip them on. they're much thinner (and much more break-able D: ) than real socks, but they're the only ones that fit with my sneakers and *boots* :D.
also grudgingly bought magenta-plum-y tights. which are so awesome. and when I got home and tried them on it it cheered me right up because I looked so much like an elf in them. (New elf outfit: yellow Zara top, purple tights, brown fringe boots, crazy expression.) Got my dad to take a picture of me posing on the bench near the door, will post it to FB as my display pic once I actually download it :D

got really mad here too because I hate it when people take one look at Asians, and they think, English is not their first language and they can't understand us, hahahaha. went to emporium to buy bread, girlfriend (purely unintentional but it looked really promising and it is NOT a fluffy magazine, seriously, it actually has cool articles about stuff like The Edward Effect, which I am clearly suffering from), roses for mum (haha sneaky sneaky- she was so surprised when my dad turned up with them) and takeaway lunch for mum and dad (I had kfc leftovers!! :D).
then went home to eat, slack, do a bit of homework and 4 GG icons. following which we went to bumrungrad hospital (which I cheerily dub the bum hospital, pardon my French ;D). GOT MY RETAINERS!! NO MORE BRACES!! I SOUND LIKE A BANANA!! THEY FEEL FUNNY!! I half wish I had my braces back because they're so much more comfortable, but it's worth it to actually see my teeth again after more than a year of separation (;
Then went to the eye specialist to check about my sty (it's a thing in the eye, by the way, not the thing pigs muck around in, thank you very much). He said that if I chose to go for an operation, it would be around 10 minutes and there's a 2% chance of it ever coming back. AKA, the operation would be 98%-likely to be permanent, no scars. awesome. we're planning to have it done over the summer. nervous!! but also happy knowing it won't be back. (besides, then when I go back to NY mrs. wong won't keep asking me why my left eye still looks funny. I remember getting a little tired of telling her I can't help it.)
now blogging cos I've finished all homework due mon & tues. still got 11-2 and lab report for wednesday. uh oh ): kind of looking forward to lab report though, strange as it sounds. it's kind of fun ;D if confusing at times.

Went to Platinum today (got up at 8.45, left house at 9.30) and only stayed for an hour! The miraculous thing was, I only got 2 items and both were on my wishlist. Wow, self control much? ;D haha. My April savings are all gone and so is (probably) most of my May savings. *cough* I bought... *drumroll, pleeaz!*
the gorgeous fringed boots!! I wanted the grey/black (my choices 2 and 3 out of 4 colours), but ironically they didn't have size 40 in those, they only had 40 in cream (choice 1) and dark brown (choice 4). you'd think I'd have bought the cream (it looked so beyewtiful!) but sensibility got the better of me and I bought the dark brown. so gorgeous anyway! dad bargained the price down by more than a hundred baht, I think. thank goodness. but it's still very ex. which explains why I promised to forgo the rest of my april savings for them.
a gorgeous black mostly-matte vest!! sorry to use 'gorgeous' again, but there's no other word to describe it. the girl at the shop helped me adjust it and it fits so well now! :D yesss! using may savings to pay for it.

and and and! you know that butterfly necklace I posted here once? (the one chingying wanted? *cough*) I told you guys it broke, right? (the chain just snapped at school. pfft.) I came up with a brill plan! since it was so beautiful (silver fluidy chains and brown shiny butterfly charms), I used pliers and took out all the butterflies and made 3 pairs of earrings! one for my mum and two for myself. the last one is really pretty: I used two different-length silver chains as well as rainbow glass beads for a super-long dangling design :D it's almost like the rain in the sun one from TGB (but less pretty XD cos I'm no expert).

oh, 'tis a depressing day indeed.
the weekend's gone by so fast! before I know it, gossip girl disc 4 is finished and disc 5 has been passed over; mita has gone and bought her dress for the dance despite telling us she was going to shop for it with us; saturday's dinner with sher & family is already over; and TOMORROW'S MONDAYBLUESDAY. darn it.
good thing is, the day AFTER bluesday is tuesday the holiday, and my dad has promised that if I wake up early he'll bring me to platinum. yesss!
since my mum's in singapore and will be returning tuesday, my original plan for this weekend was to go platinum and get those fringed boots I've been drooling over. however, while I remembered that my dad in a good mood will sponsor most of the random stuff I feel like buying, I overlooked the fact that that's mostly in spacious, A/C-filled areas like Emporium, not packed-like-sardines-but-still-A/C-ed drool-till-you-drop places like Platinum.
so yesterday we went Emporium and bought a pink cosmetics case for sway-sim and a matching one for mum, as well as a photo frame for the picture of joseph & I that sway-chick just developed. dinner was spent with chips, pizza, kfc, football and gossip girl. mmm!
today, we went to church- 2nd last CCD class! this saturday's our retreat. grrrr. plus confession. "my last confession was... some time ago." I don't even remember. eek! after church we went to emporium, where we got joseph this adorable shirt that says Don't Bug Me! as well as the cutest monkey plush toy you ever saw. I named it Moses the Monkey, because Moses sounds like Mosef which sounds like Joseph. right??
hung out with joseph for about one-two hours eating ummm! milk ice cream and just hugging him, until his good mood expired and he decided he didn't want to sleep. however, before the crying bout, sway chick managed to take a cute pic of him cuddling moses, and I'm going to post it next.
then went back home where I touched up my nails and nearly fell asleep on the bed. put on a hydrating mask thing, which was so cold it woke me right up. turned on A/C and internet, and here I am now! needing to compose my To-Do list cos I forgot all about h/w. thank goodness I don't have much to do- I think.

Dad's friend is currently over for dinner, so I ate super fast and escaped. Today was so fun! Last rocket launch D: wish we did this every day.
This guy who left ISB in like 4th grade or smth came over to visit, and while he was talking to Noah, Joseph and Robbie Tata was like, "HE LOOKS LIKE MIRANDA COSGROVE!" and we were all rofling so hard because it was absoluteeely true. Seriously.
Then, something totally embarrassing happened. We were all sitting in a row on the field waiting for the rocket to launch, holding our inclinometers. I was with Tata, Noah and Robbie were on our right and Nimarta and Mindy on our left. So N's team was on and I didn't know. N is, in case you didn't know, THE popular girl in school. She was wearing her softball or whatever jacket, while I was sweating like CRAZY. So I went, "Who's that girl? Oh, Neomi... she's wearing a jacket! ISN'T SHE HOT?" And all of a sudden I realized Noah was laughing at me, and that I'd said it pretty damn loud. Then suddenly EVERYONE was laughing and staring at me, and I realized the stupid implications of what I'd said. So I spent the whole lesson hyperventilating about that stupid sentence. And Nimarta lectured me on saying feeling before the adjective.
AAH!
Haha I'm still embarrassed. I told my dad and he was laughing at me. Then I had a lengthy monologue about anthropology in our school. Anthro. is actually quite a cool subject. I might take it up.
Nothing else happened that was that exciting. Except for Joseph and his (1) stupid staring-to-see-if-your-poker-face-is-truthful and (2) "Whatevs!"
In YEARBOOK we had a free period, and Ms Ulster was like, GUYS YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT, JUST OPEN A WORK PAGE SO IF ANYONE FROM ADMIN COMES TO CHECK IN ON US, YOU CAN PRETEND YOU'RE WORKING! so funny.
in GS we learned how to do myisb, and then we worked on our reflection. E was there. I mentioned him before; Tata might know who he is! clue? mascara.
so, anyway, Mrs. Pine-Petthong was asking, "But what do the poor lack access to?"
If you know E, he speaks really slowly and really enunciates the Ss. He also accompanies every sentence with a I'm-a-friendly-guy-who's-going-to-murder-your-mother smile. So he was like,
E: sssssity. *big grin* Mrs P-P: yes! so if the poor need to move near the city, where does the govt. need to place them? E: countrysssside. Me: What.
