and there's nothing worth running for
Hi my name is Grace and I like to read, write + fashion/graphic design and I abhor veggies + twitbuggers. I'm from EPPS/SHPS/NYGH/ISB (yes, I know, extensive) and I take Spanish as a third language! I really love Broadway *and* Taylor Swift. And random stuff like the soundtrack of the movie Once.

Weekend

I don't know what your problem is, but I'm not going to let you bring me down.
---
The planned Panya trip to Chiang Mai is over. Only Mita and I are free in the time slot that Panya gave us, and besides, Nimanee is determined that there is "nothing fun in building houses". Whatevs.

Already e-mailed them- we may be able to go in Oct/Dec! Can't wait. A trip there for Week Without Walls would be awesome too, but Nimarta says that we're only allowed out-of-Asia trips in Grade 9 or something so we might as well take advantage of it. Would love to go to France!! Or Austria. I'm kind of dying to visit Austria after reading so many Eva Ibbotson books.

IT'S THE WEEKEND! Except, weirdly, I don't feel so celebratory about my first (in a long time) weekend without ANY homework or projects or anything to do. Reasons?

  1. My throat hurts.
  2. I have a cough.
  3. My nose is blocked.
  4. My parents are going to be busy for pretty much the whole weekend.
  5. Only trips out planned this weekend are (1) church and (2) sway-chick's house.

That sounds really fun.

[I wanted to visit Platinum/CHATUCHAK!! ): Oh well.]

Mum is threatening to not wake me up for school Monday if I don't get well. Which, normally, is a good thing, but Monday's an important day. Firstly, during Yearbook, Ms Ulster's gonna take us out to STARBUCKS for a celebration thing, and secondly, we're having our second Moving Up Ceremony practice during 7/8 (I think). AND THIRDLY I THINK WE'RE GONNA GET OUR YEARBOOKS ON MONDAY :D can't wait!!!!! It's so awesome seeing something done on Photoshop or InDesign for hours come alive on glossy paper :D

Was previously feeling hardworking enough to take a pic of my drawing and line-art it, but now that I'm online I sort of remember how hard it seriously is to do line-art. I can't believe I used to work so hard at it. I'm going to wait until I can get a tablet with a stylus :D
